Kyiv Rebel joins Group B: 2026/27 Ukrainian Second League calendar revealed

The draw for the 2026/27 Ukrainian Second League season took place on July 14 at the Football House in Kyiv. A total of 18 clubs will compete, split into two groups of nine, with the tournament played in three rounds. During the offseason, Uzhhorod and Hirnyk-Sport withdrew from the competition. In their place, Kyiv-based Rebel received a license and was placed directly into Group B, which prompted Vinnytsia's Nyva to be moved to Group A. The competition format remains the same: group winners earn promotion to the First League and face each other for the Second League title. Runners-up will battle for bronze medals and then enter playoff ties against the 13th and 14th-placed teams in the First League for a chance to move up for the 2027/28 campaign. The opening round is scheduled for August 1.
