Romano reports that Inter Milan have already held discussions with Spurs in recent days. During talks about a possible move for Jed Spence, the Argentine was also floated as an option to reinforce the Nerazzurri backline. Inter are genuinely interested in signing the 28-year-old World Cup winner, but his hefty price tag remains the biggest obstacle. Barcelona, too, has shown interest in Romero. Transfermarkt values the defender at €45 million, and his current contract with Tottenham runs through the summer of 2029. In the 2025/26 season, Cristian Romero made 32 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals and adding three assists.
