Before the last World Cup, speculation suggested Modric might hang up his boots after the tournament. But following Croatia’s elimination, he decided to play on. Now, Romano reports that new Milan head coach Ruben Amorim personally called the player to discuss his future, a clear signal of intent from the club. Still, the final decision rests with Modric. He is taking his time, weighing the opinions of his family before committing. Should he agree, the Croatian will continue his spell in Italy, having joined Milan last summer. So far, he has made 37 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and providing three assists.
