Paris Club Targets Jonathan David in €30 Million Move

French side Paris FC has stepped up its pursuit of Juventus and Canada striker Jonathan David, with a major offer reportedly in the works. According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, the Ligue 1 outfit is prepared to spend around €30 million to bring the 26-year-old forward to Paris. David’s current contract with Juventus runs through the summer of 2030, giving the Serie A club plenty of leverage in negotiations. Last season in Italy was mixed for David — 35 league appearances yielded six goals and four assists. But his international form tells a different story. At this year’s World Cup, where Canada co-hosted the tournament, the striker featured in five matches and bagged a hat-trick against Qatar. Paris FC is determined to bolster its attack, and the Canadian international sits near the top of the wish list. Whether a deal can be struck remains to be seen, but the groundwork is clearly being laid.
