RB Leipzig Sets Loan Condition for Diomande's PSG Move

RB Leipzig have given the green light for 19-year-old Ivorian winger Yan Diomande to join Paris Saint-Germain — but with a catch. According to TEAMtalk, the Bundesliga side has agreed to sell their young star to PSG only on the condition that Diomande stays in Germany on loan for the upcoming season. The French champions, meanwhile, would prefer to bring him to Paris immediately. However, if the player himself decides that another year in the Bundesliga would benefit his development, the deal is expected to go through on those terms. Earlier, Diomande turned down an approach from Liverpool, as he is determined to join the project at PSG. Transfermarkt values the winger at €90 million. Last season, he featured in 33 Bundesliga matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 8 assists, helping Leipzig secure a third-place finish. It was previously reported that PSG have also agreed a professional contract with 18-year-old Ayari.
