Roma reach verbal agreement on new contracts for Mancini and Cristante

Roma have agreed in principle to extend the contracts of defender Gianluca Mancini and midfielder Bryan Cristante, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. Romano reports that a verbal agreement is already in place, and the formal signing of the new deals is expected shortly. The insider also dismissed rumors linking Mancini with a move to Inter, insisting the Milan club was never close to signing the 30-year-old center-back, who is considered untouchable at Roma.
