Tottenham Hotspur have turned down Nottingham Forest's first official offer for midfielder Lucas Bergvall. Despite the initial setback, Forest remain keen on the Swedish talent and talks are expected to continue, according to The Athletic. The 20-year-old has informed Spurs' hierarchy that he wants to leave the club during the current summer transfer window. Nottingham Forest view the Swede as a prime target to strengthen their midfield. Beyond Forest, other Premier League sides — including Chelsea and Aston Villa — have also expressed interest in the youngster. Bergvall featured in four matches for Sweden at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
