Estev officially became a player of RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig officially announced the signing of Maxim Estev. The French central defender left the English club Burnley and will continue his career in the German championship. An official transfer fee has not been disclosed, however, leading insiders believe the deal cost the German club around €32 million including bonuses. Burnley thanked Estev for his commitment to the club, his professionalism and leadership qualities, noting that during his time there he became one of the key players in the team's defence. Now the 24-year-old Frenchman will try to prove himself in the Bundesliga, where he will become part of RB Leipzig. Last season, the player played 36 matches for the English team in all tournaments. According to the results of the last campaign, Burnley finished last in the Premier League and left the elite division.
