Liverpool extended the contract with Soboslai

Liverpool have officially announced a contract extension with attacking midfielder Dominic Soboslai. The press service of the club informed about the signing of a new long-term agreement. The Hungarian midfielder signed a new contract on the eve of the start of the 2026/27 season. Exact terms are not specified. The upcoming campaign will be his fourth with the Merseysiders since joining from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023, and his first under new head coach Andoni Iraola. During his time with Liverpool, Soboslai played 147 matches in all competitions, scored 28 goals and provided 26 assists. Together with the team, he won the English League Cup and also became the champion of England in the 2024/25 season. Last season was the most successful for the 24-year-old football player on an individual basis: in 53 matches, he recorded 13 goals and 12 assists. At the end of the campaign, the fans recognized the Hungarian as the best player of the season in Liverpool.
