Manchester United have targeted Sander Berge

Manchester United's management is in active internal discussions regarding the possible transfer of Fulham midfielder Sander Berge. As TEAMtalk reports, the 28-year-old Norwegian has become a priority target for the Red Devils, who are currently finalizing the formation of a renewed midfield line.
Berge caught the attention of the Mancunian scouts thanks to his consistent and impressive performances for the Cottagers, which he successfully complemented with an impressive display for Norway at the World Cup.
Now the midfielder has every chance to take a step forward and continue his career at Old Trafford. The urgent need for a large-scale strengthening of the center of the field arose after the departure of the experienced Casemiro. The management of United approved a clear strategy — to sign three new midfielders at once to create a reliable structure of the game.
This transfer campaign has started with some difficulties for the club, with Manchester United giving up in the race for Elliott Anderson, who is Manchester City, and unable to agree on Mateusz Fernandes, who is going to Tottenham.
However, the club quickly recovered from these failures and began to act as decisively as possible. The result was two important transfers: Andrey Santos from Chelsea joined the team and Yuri Tielemans from Aston Villa for years in the EPL.
It will be recalled that last season Sander played 35 matches in the Premier League and provided one assist. The contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt values the player at 25 million euros.
