AC Milan are exploring the possibility of signing central midfielder Marcel Pierre-Emile Geiberg during the summer transfer window. This was reported by broadcaster Sport Italia. According to a source, the 30-year-old Dane could be one of the options to strengthen the midfield if the club decides to say goodbye to one of the current central midfielders. The footballer himself is ready to leave Marseille this summer, which makes a potential deal more realistic. However, Milan is in no hurry to make a decision. The team's new head coach, Ruben Amorim, initially plans to evaluate the team during preseason training, after which he will decide on the need to invite another midfielder. Geibjerg has considerable experience at the highest level, having previously represented Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur. In the 2025/26 season, he played 32 matches in Ligue 1, scoring four goals and five assists.
