Juventus Keen on Trubin, but €40m Price Tag Complicates Move

1
Juventus remain interested in Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin, but a move to Turin appears complicated at this stage, according to Portuguese outlet Glorioso 1904. Sources indicate that Juventus officials have already made initial contact with the goalkeeper’s entourage. The Serie A side view Trubin as a long-term solution between the posts, believing he can bring stability to the position for years to come. The biggest hurdle, however, is the price. Benfica have no intention of letting one of their most valuable assets leave for anything less than around €40 million. The Portuguese club are adamant that the valuation reflects Trubin’s potential and his importance to their project. Juventus’ financial constraints mean they must tread carefully in the transfer market, making it difficult to meet Benfica’s demands. The interest in Trubin intensified after Juventus failed to make progress in negotiations for other top goalkeepers, including Emiliano Martínez and Alisson. For now, Trubin remains a Benfica player, and any potential switch to Italy hinges on whether Juventus can get close to the Portuguese side’s asking price.
