Arsenal agree personal terms with Christos Tzolis as summer move nears

Arsenal have taken a significant step toward reinforcing their attack, reaching a full agreement on personal terms with Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, according to multiple reports.
The 24-year-old Greece international has been identified as the primary replacement for Leandro Trossard, who was sold to Besiktas in a deal that could rise to €20 million. Tzolis enjoyed a spectacular 2025-26 campaign, recording 51 goal contributions in 52 appearances across all competitions for the Belgian side.
Transfer insider insider has indicated that Tzolis is only interested in joining Arsenal, and talks between the two clubs are expected to intensify in the coming days. The Gunners are keen to finalize the move before their pre-season schedule kicks off on July 20.
Italian reporter Nicolo Schira has now revealed that Tzolis has agreed to a five-year contract worth €3 million per season in north London. While a deal between Arsenal and Club Brugge has yet to be officially completed, the structure of the transfer — believed to be in the region of €40 million — is understood to be close.
Arsenal are not stopping there. The club remains in the race for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, while Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola is also on their radar. Gabriel Martinelli, despite external interest, is expected to stay at the Emirates.
Given the depth of attacking options, Tzolis is likely to begin his Arsenal career as a rotational piece, but with the club competing on multiple fronts, regular minutes should be available.
