Leandro Trossard on the verge of leaving Arsenal for Besiktas

Leandro Trossard is closing in on a move to Turkish side Besiktas after Arsenal accepted a €20 million offer for the Belgian winger. Trossard, who joined the Gunners from Brighton & Hove Albion for €24 million in January 2023, has been a key figure under Mikel Arteta. The 31-year-old shared left-wing duties with Gabriel Martinelli but started 21 Premier League matches last season, contributing vital goals including a late winner against West Ham United during Arsenal's 2025-26 title-winning campaign. According to insider sources, Besiktas will pay an initial €18 million with a further €2 million in add-ons. Trossard is close to agreeing personal terms on a three-year contract with an option for a fourth season, earning around €7 million annually. The deal could be finalized this week as discussions continue. Arsenal are expected to step up their pursuit of Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis once Trossard's departure is officially confirmed, while also monitoring Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola.
