However, outlets close to the Gunners have categorically denied any such agreement. Furthermore, those close to Odegaard have confirmed that his agent, Bjorn Kvarme, has not been in Istanbul recently. In fact, Kvarme is currently with Odegaard in the United States. The Arsenal captain is said to be 'very happy' at the Emirates, and the club share that sentiment despite his recent struggles with injuries. As things stand, Odegaard will report for pre-season as usual and remain in north London beyond the summer transfer window. The rumour emerged amid Norway's World Cup campaign, where they have reached the round of 32 and will face Brazil on Sunday.
