Arsenal Transfer Roundup: €150m Saliba Stance, €140m Guimaraes Price Tag and More

Arsenal are bracing for a hectic summer window, with the club's stance on William Saliba becoming clear while Bruno Guimaraes has been tipped to walk straight into the starting XI – for a hefty fee.
According to reports, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are all monitoring Saliba's progress. The France international has established himself as one of the elite centre-backs in world football, but Arsenal are in no mood to sell. The Gunners would demand at least €150 million before even considering opening talks, and with his contract running until 2030, the club holds all the cards. An exit this summer looks unlikely.
Meanwhile, former Newcastle midfielder Jermaine Jenas has weighed in on the Bruno Guimaraes situation. Arsenal had a €64m (£55m) bid rejected by the Magpies and are expected to return with an improved offer. Jenas believes the Brazil international would be a massive upgrade for Arteta's side.
“He walks into that team in my opinion. I think he's a massive upgrade on Zubimendi,” Jenas said. When asked about Newcastle's asking price, he added: “What's Tonali gone for? £100m? Put £10m or £15m on top of Tonali … maybe even £20m. Guimaraes for Newcastle has been absolutely sensational.”
Arsenal are also weighing up a move for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, though the price tag is eye-watering. The media reports that Villa will demand a British record €152m (£130m) to even consider selling the England forward, who is Arsenal's primary attacking target.
Defensive reinforcements are also on the agenda. Villa centre-back Ezri Konsa has emerged as a target, and while his contract at Villa Park runs until 2028, the club is expected to open extension talks once he returns from the World Cup.
Elsewhere, Arsenal have joined the race for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville. The Netherlands forward will likely leave the relegated Hammers this summer, with Manchester United also keen. The Gunners are ready to let Leandro Trossard move to Besiktas to free up space.
Finally, goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga could depart after just one season. insider sources reports that the Spaniard will be allowed to leave if his €5.9m (£5m) release clause is triggered, with Serie A and La Liga clubs circling.
