Chelsea eye €58m Summerville as cheaper alternative to Rogers

Chelsea are considering a summer move for West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville, with reports in Italy suggesting the Blues view the Dutch international as a more affordable option than Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers. According to Il Resto del Carlino, Chelsea have been monitoring Summerville’s situation closely. The 24-year-old impressed individually during a difficult season for the Hammers, scoring seven Premier League goals as the club finished 18th and slipped into the Championship. Summerville also made an impact on the international stage, netting twice and providing two assists in four appearances for the Netherlands at the World Cup.
