Spain's tax authorities have published their annual register of individuals with outstanding debts exceeding €600,000 to the state treasury. Among those listed is former Barcelona and Atlético Madrid midfielder Arda Turan, who currently serves as head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk. According to the official records, as of the end of 2025, Turan's debt totals €1.26 million. The Turkish football figure retired from playing several years ago and transitioned into coaching, but his financial obligations to the Spanish tax office remain unresolved.
