Chelsea confirm signing of Geovani Kenda from Sporting in €50m deal

Chelsea have officially announced the signing of 19-year-old Portuguese winger Geovani Kenda from Sporting Lisbon. The Premier League club confirmed the move on their official website. Kenda has put pen to paper on a contract that runs until the summer of 2030. Sporting are set to receive a fee of around €50 million for the highly-rated youngster. The teenager is regarded as one of the brightest attacking prospects in Portuguese football and now becomes the latest addition to Chelsea’s ongoing youth-focused recruitment strategy.
