Ihor Kostiuk: ‘This was our first official match of the season – Dynamo lack optimal match fitness’

Dynamo Kyiv head coach Ihor Kostiuk has reflected on a goalless draw against Universitatea Cluj-Napoca in the first qualifying round of the Europa League. “There is the result, and there is the performance. We understand this was our first official match of the season. The team still lacks the optimal match sharpness, which is why we couldn’t convert our chances. But we continue working and building a game that will bring victories,” Kostiuk said after the final whistle.
