Manchester United are preparing to test Bournemouth’s resolve over midfielder Alex Scott, according to Ben Jacobs. The 22-year-old has climbed the club’s shortlist following missed moves for Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali. Bournemouth maintain Scott is not for sale and plan to open contract talks, but sources indicate an offer could arrive in the coming days.
The Red Devils face a dilemma in their pursuit of Lille teenager Ayyoub Bouaddi. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have signaled willingness to buy the €70m-rated Moroccan this summer and loan him back to Lille until 2027.
