Man Utd handed clear stance from €60m star as alternative signing drifts away is prioritising a move to the Premier League as he looks to leave this summer, according to reports in Italy. The 27-year-old in May, citing the need for a fresh challenge after seven years at the San Siro. Leao emerged as one of the most exciting wingers in the world when firing Milan to the Champions League semi-finals in 2022-23. However, the Portugal star has struggled to reach the same heights over the last three seasons, with his goal return reducing year on year. The Italian publication claims Milan, who are now managed by ex-United boss Ruben Amorim, value Leao at around €60million (£51m). Gazzetta understands Milan may be tempted to accept an offer of €50m (£42.5m), however, as they look to facilitate Leao’s request to leave. Milan are interested in signing Genk’s teenage sensation Konstantinos Karetsas, 18, as a replacement for Leao, according to Gazzetta. Roma launch bid to sign Man Utd target Summerville The news comes after Serie A side Roma tabled a €46m (£39.1m) bid to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United, according to insider sources. Summerville, who scored seven times for relegated West Ham last season, is also a target for Man Utd, according to the same publication. An alternative report from insider claims Roma's bid was rejected by West Ham, with Gian Piero Gasperini's side set to return with a new offer. United have been busy in the summer transfer market as they look to bolster Michael Carrick’s squad ahead of the 2026-27 season. The Red Devils have signed Andrey Santos, Karl Darlow and Youri Tielemans so far this summer, and the club are hoping to make further additions. understands United are keen to sign a third central midfielder, despite the arrivals of Santos and Tielemans. United had agreed a €41m (£35m) fee with Atalanta to sign Ederson, but they aborted the move after a medical flagged an area of concern. Brazil international Ederson has since signed a contract extension with Serie A outfit Atalanta, though the length of the deal has not been disclosed.
