Mohamed Salah transfer agreement confirmed

Mohamed Salah transfer agreement confirmed - but there's a twist president Serdar Adali has confirmed that has agreed to join the club this summer, although the deal is now in doubt due to his agent’s demands. The Egypt international is a free agent following his exit at the end of June and he has been heavily linked with a Bosman move to Besiktas, with reports in Turkey suggesting that Salah wants to join the club. This has now been backed up by Adali, but the deal is yet to be finalised and remains at risk of collapsing. Speaking to Ismael Mahmoud, Adali admitted: “Salah gave his approval. He spoke to our head coach Vincenzo Italiano and sporting director and said yes. His agent initially responded positively. “But once the media reported the transfer was 'done', the agent raised his demands. He asked for an unbelievable 35% commission. We cannot accept this under any circumstances. “We negotiate only with Ramy Abbas. We do not believe Salah is aware of these numbers.” Meanwhile, the official Besiktas social media account refused to comment on speculation linking them with a move for Salah, although they have released a surprising club statement. “The posts made by journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu on digital platforms regarding our club's transfer processes and the rumored transfer conditions are absolutely products of imagination,” Besiktas posted. “The individual in question has been misleading the public for a long time by disseminating news fabricated at the desk, which has no connection whatsoever to reality, concerning our club's transfer processes. “As we have stated before, the most accurate and transparent information regarding our club's transfer processes is shared with our fans and the public through our communication channels. “We once again earnestly request from the public, especially our fans, not to place any credence in any information or news that has not been shared through our official communication channels.” Salah, who scored 12 goals in 41 games across all competitions for Liverpool last season, has also been heavily linked with clubs in the MLS and the Saudi Pro League, with his agent recently admitting that a final decision regarding his future hasn’t been made. What has Mohamed Salah’s agent said? While it has been claimed that Salah wants to join Besiktas this summer, with an agreement reported to be in place, his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has poured cold water on such rumours. Taking to X, Issa said: “We still do not know where Mohamed will play next season but we may know very soon. “It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn’t want to play for, just for the sake of noise.”
