Rangers to sign World Cup goalkeeper with Butland set for exit are set to sign Croatian World Cup goalkeeper from , with current number one set to move the other way. Pandur is currently at the 2026 World Cup with Croatia, although the 26-year-old is the third-choice option for his country and has yet to be capped. A deal worth £6 million (€7m) has been agreed with Hull to sign the keeper, who made 44 appearances in the Championship to lead the Tigers to promotion. In exchange, Butland will join Hull for £3m (€3.5m), although this is believed to be a separate deal in order to appease Squad Cost Ratio (SCR) rules and balance the English side’s books. Pandur is expected to pen a long-term contract with Rangers, with a medical scheduled in the US in the coming days, and he will be handed the number one shirt alongside taking Butland’s spot in the team. Butland, meanwhile, has been given permission to travel to Hull for talks and it remains to be seen whether the 33-year-old will become the newly-promoted side’s first choice or if they will sign another goalkeeper in addition to the veteran.
