Real Madrid consider Vinicius Jr sale with deadline set for new contract could leave this summer after the La Liga giants put a deadline on resolving his contract issue or risk considering his sale. The 25-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with Madrid and no formal agreement has been announced despite previous suggestions that Vinicius was close to signing a new deal. Both parties had been some way apart in terms of finances but, with president Florentino Perez desperate to keep his talismanic star at the club for the long-term, Real Madrid are hoping they will not need to explore Vinicius’ sale this summer, even if it may be considered.
