Transfer Rumours: Barcola to Arsenal, Vinicius Jr Close to New Real Madrid Deal, and More

Arsenal's pursuit of Ferran Torres is directly linked to the future of Bradley Barcola, according to L'Equipe. An agreement on personal terms with the Spain international is reportedly already in place, but PSG will only finalise the deal once they have completed outgoing offensive moves. That could open the door for Barcola to leave. The French winger is stalling on a new contract, and he is being pushed toward Arsenal, who are among the clubs keen on signing him this summer. Real Madrid are closing in on a contract agreement with Vinicius Jr, AS reports. Fresh contact took place after Brazil's World Cup exit, and both sides reiterated their desire to extend the partnership beyond 2027. Madrid are no longer concerned and expect a breakthrough before the end of the summer, though they have asked Vinicius for a final decision by then. Roma are holding talks with BlueCo over a double deal. According to Di Marzio, the Serie A side have explored a move for Alejandro Garnacho, but that transfer is currently considered unlikely – Chelsea will only accept permanent offers in the region of €50 million, while Roma prefer a loan. A deal for Diego Moreira appears more realistic, with Roma preparing a €30 million bid for the Belgium international, who wants to leave Strasbourg this summer. Bruno Guimaraes has told Newcastle he wants to join Arsenal, yet the Gunners have not made any direct contact with the Magpies. All discussions have been carried out by intermediaries, and Arsenal are said to be 'flabbergasted' by the saga. Guimaraes is not forcing a move but understands Newcastle will only sell at the right price, which could be up to €100 million. Manchester United have pulled the plug on a deal for a midfielder and are exploring alternatives. Gazzetta dello Sport reports contact with a Roma midfielder available for over €50 million, while Globo Esporte says a Brazilian midfielder is also being considered again. In other rumours: Mohamed Salah's most realistic MLS destination is now Kansas City, but European and Saudi clubs still have better chances. Chelsea have not bid for Al-Qadsiah striker Julian Quinones. Arsenal remain frontrunners for an unnamed forward. Manchester United have agreed a deal for teenage winner Erskine Rennie. Hull have hijacked a deal for Mjallby's Elliot Stroud. Arsenal are still in talks for a Club Brugge winger. Multiple clubs, including Hull and others, are interested in Bodo/Glimt's Patrick Berg. Barcelona have agreed a deal for 18-year-old Club Brugge winger Jesse Bisiwu. A full-back is set to join on loan amid an ongoing investigation preventing him from playing in the UK.
