Transfer Gossip: Man Utd Lead Race for Felix Nmecha, Barcelona Lose Young Star Adam Qaroual

The summer transfer window is heating up and Monday's rumor mill is packed with intriguing storylines, headlined by Manchester United's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha. According to BILD, the Red Devils are "leading the charge" for the Germany international despite his recent contract extension at the Westfalenstadion. United are reportedly weighing up a summer move, but Dortmund remain firm that Nmecha is not for sale. A fee in the region of €120 million would be needed to even test their resolve, though the German outlet suggests the Bundesliga side may eventually have to sanction a major sale this summer. Meanwhile, Barcelona have suffered a blow at La Masia as 13-year-old winger Adam Qaroual has decided to leave the club. Sport reports that the German-born teenager, who joined in 2023, has struggled to adapt despite drawing comparisons to Lamine Yamal for his dribbling. Qaroual and his family feel unsupported by the Catalans and have made the "well-considered" choice to move on. No new club has been chosen, but suitors from Spain and across Europe are ready to welcome him. Tottenham Hotspur are also preparing to test Bournemouth's stance on Eli Kroupi. talkSPORT understands the North London side, who have already spent close to €270m this summer, are lining up a bid of around €100m to persuade the Cherries to sell. Bournemouth insist the France youth international is not for sale, but the list of interested clubs is long, with several suitors monitoring the situation. Elsewhere, PSG are taking their time in negotiations for RB Leipzig winger Diomande. The teenager has reportedly chosen Paris as his next club and a five-year deal is already agreed in principle, but talks over a transfer fee continue. Leipzig insist he is not for sale and want over €120m, while PSG are wary of overpaying. That delay could open the door for other clubs to make a bid. Arsenal center-back William Saliba is also attracting interest from Barcelona and PSG, according to CaughtOffside. The France international signed a long-term deal last year but elite clubs remain keen. However, the Gunners have no intention of selling unless an extraordinary offer — upwards of €150m — arrives.
