UEFA Coefficient Update: Ukraine Stays 22nd, Looks Ahead to 2026/27 Campaign
0
UEFA has released the latest club coefficient rankings for member associations, and Ukraine holds steady at 22nd place with 23.712 points.
Romania sits just above in 21st (24.000), while Croatia follows in 23rd (23.281). The rankings aggregate results over five seasons for all clubs from each association in UEFA competitions.
For the 2026/27 European season, Ukraine will have four representatives. Shakhtar Donetsk enter the Champions League group stage directly, Dynamo Kyiv begin in the Europa League first qualifying round, and both LNZ Cherkasy and Polissya Zhytomyr start in the Conference League second qualifying round.
The points system awards two points for a win and one for a draw, with qualification round points halved. Bonus points are given for reaching the Champions League group stage (four points) and for advancing through knockout rounds. The coefficient is the average of the current season's points (total divided by number of clubs) added to the totals from the previous four seasons.
Rankings are updated after each round of UEFA club competitions.
