The future of Viktor Tsygankov at Girona remains shrouded in uncertainty. According to AS, the Ukrainian winger has officially informed the club's management of his desire to explore options for continuing his career elsewhere. Reports indicate that the 28-year-old sent an official letter to the club's offices outlining his vision for his career development. In the letter, Tsygankov stated that he does not see his future in Girona's current sporting project and would like permission to consider offers from other clubs. At the same time, the Ukrainian emphasized his respect for the terms of his existing contract and stressed he has no intention of causing a conflict. He hopes for an open dialogue with the club to find a solution beneficial to all parties. Tsygankov has been representing Girona since early 2023. During this period, he has made 119 appearances, scoring 20 goals and providing 23 assists. The player's contract with the Catalan club runs until the summer of 2027, but following this request, the likelihood of his departure during the summer transfer window has increased significantly.
