Famous Irish ex-football player Damien Duff joined the coaching staff of the English club Brentford. This was reported by the press service of the club. Ukraine national team midfielder Yehor Yarmolyuk also plays in Brentford. For Duff, this is only the second coaching experience in his career. In 2021-2025, he led the Irish Shelbourne and led the team to the championship in the national championship. As a player, Duff is best known for playing for Chelsea in 2003–2006. He also played for Brentford, Newcastle, Fulham, Melbourne City and Shamrock Rovers. Between 1998 and 2012, Duff made 100 appearances for Ireland, scoring 8 goals.
