Ex-Eintracht coach Dino Toppmeller is close to being appointed as head coach of Lance. As reported by the French mass media, the parties are in the final stages of agreeing a two-year contract. In addition to Toppmeller, Olivier Pantaloni and Patrick Vieira were also considered in the club's shortlist. In the near future, the position of head coach of Lance will become vacant - current coach Pierre Sage is close to a move to Crystal Palace. Toppmeller, 45, has been out of work since January 2026, when he left Eintracht. He headed the Frankfurt club from the summer of 2023. Lance finished last season in second place in the French championship and won the national cup. In the next campaign, the team will play at the main stage of the Champions League.
