Andre Silva has returned to Porto

Porto officially announced the return to the team of striker Andre Silva. The 30-year-old forward will join the Portuguese giants on a free agent after the end of his contract with Elche. The parties signed the agreement until the end of the 2026/27 season. The contract also includes an option to extend for another year. For Silva, this is the second visit to his native club. The forward was in Porto's structure from 2011 to 2017, and played for the main team for two seasons. During this time, he played 57 matches in which he scored 24 goals and provided seven assists. After leaving Porto, the striker played for Milan, Sevilla, Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Sociedad, Leipzig, Werder Bremen and Elche. The most successful period of his career was a season with Eintracht, when he became one of the top scorers in the Bundesliga. Silva spent last season with Elche, where he played 31 matches in La Liga and scored ten goals.
