Yaya Toure outlined Slovan's style: We will play dominant football

Ivorian specialist Yaya Toure shared his first emotions after becoming the head coach of Slovan Bratislava. "I'm very happy and excited; to be honest, I can't wait for us to start working together on Monday. My predecessor deserves a lot of credit for what he achieved with Slovan. I want to build on that while adding something new and unique of myself. Football is everything to me. I love challenges and I'm incredibly excited to coach a great club with a rich history, a beautiful stadium and high ambitions," Toure said. The new coach also noted the level of the club's infrastructure and outlined his football principles. "I was very pleasantly surprised by the infrastructure of the club, which is really at the highest level. With Slovan, I want to play dominant football, win and control the course of matches to please our fans. I have already tried to study the team in as much detail as possible, but the most important thing is to see the reaction of the players in training. As an assistant, I worked with Roberto Mancini, but for a long time I dreamed of leading my own project as a head coach," he added. Toure also mentioned Slovan's performances in the European Cups and emphasized that he is looking forward to starting work with the team. We will remind that Slovan Bratislava is represented by Ukrainian central midfielder Danylo Ignatenko and central striker Mykola Kuharevich.
