0
For the first time in history, the national team of Curaçao scored a goal at the World Cup.
The historic event took place in the match of the first round of Group E of the 2026 World Cup against the German national team.
The Germans opened the scoring in the 6th minute — Felix Nmecha scored. However, the Curaçao team responded quickly: in the 21st minute, Livano Comenencia took advantage of a defensive error and tied the score at 1:1 from the penalty area.
For Curaçao, this match is the debut at the World Cup, and Dick Advocate's men have already written their name in the history of the tournament.
