Crystal Palace have agreed on the appointment of Pierre Sage as the team's head coach.
According to the media, the 47-year-old Frenchman will sign a three-year contract and will receive a work permit in Great Britain. He will start his duties on July 6.
Along with Sazh, his assistant Jamal Aliwi will join the coaching staff. In the future, the club plans to announce other members of the coaching team.
Sage has been in charge of Lance since July 2025 and has led the team to second place in Ligue 1. Despite the current contract until 2028, the coach previously informed the management of the French club about his intention to change his place of work.
Crystal Palace are without a head coach after the departure of Oliver Glasner, who decided not to renew his contract with the club.
In the 2025/26 season, the Londoners finished 15th in the Premier League, but won the Conference League and will play in the Europa League next season.
