Real Madrid continue to work on strengthening their squad in the summer transfer window and have turned their attention to two players from Borussia Dortmund. According to journalist Patrick Berger, the list of candidates for the Madrid club includes central defender Nico Schlotterback and midfielder Felix Nmecha. The head coach of the cream, Jose Mourinho, highly appreciates the capabilities of both footballers and has already gathered detailed information on potential transfers. The coach of Real Madrid shows special interest in Schlotterback. The Portuguese specialist is looking to strengthen the center of defense with a left-footed defender, with the German one of the main candidates for the role. Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori is also in Madrid's sights. Schlotterback is reported to have a special World Cup-related clause in his contract that could see him leave Borussia for between €50m and €60m. In addition to strengthening the defensive line, the management of Real Madrid is working on options to strengthen the middle line and attack, where Nmecha is being considered as one of the possible newcomers.
