The PFL approved the composition of the participants of the First and Second Leagues for the 2026/27 season

The Professional Football League of Ukraine has approved the composition of the participants of the First and Second Leagues for the 2026/27 season. This was reported by the PFL press service. 16 teams will play in the First League according to the spring-autumn round-robin system. First League: Agrobusiness (Volochysk), Victoria (Sumi), Ingulets (Petrove), Kolos-2 (Kovalyvka), Kulikiv-Bilka (Kulikov), Lokomotiv (Kyiv), Oleksandria (Olexandria), Polissia-2 (Zhytomyr), SC Poltava (Poltava), Prykarpattia-Blago (Ivano-Frankivsk), Probiy (Horodenko), Phoenix-Mariupol (Mariupol), Metalist (Kharkiv), Niva (Ternopil), Chernihiv (Chernihiv), Yuksa (Tarasivka). 18 clubs will participate in the Second League, which were divided into two traditional groups according to the territorial principle. The second league. Group A: Bratslav (Vinnytsia region), Vilkhivtsi (Transcarpathian region), Dniester (Zalishchyki), Dinaz (Vyshhorod), Podillia (Khmelnytbroadcasteri), Rukh (Lviv), Sambir-Niva-2 (Ternopil), Skala 1911 (Stry), Uzhhorod (Uzhhorod). The second league. Group B: Avangard (Kharkiv region), Atlet (Kyiv), Hirnyk-Sport (Horishni Plavni), Carbon (Cherkasy), Metalurg (Zaporizhia), Niva (Vinnytsia), Oleksandria-2 (Alexandria), Penuel (Kryvyi Rih), Poltava-2 (Poltava), Trostyanets (Trostyanets). We will remind, following the results of last season, SC Poltava and Oleksandria were relegated from the UPL to the First League, while Rukh was excluded and will play in the Second League next season. The composition of the UPL for the 2026/27 season was replenished.
