Marchenko: Karpaty is a club with ambitions, history and cool fans

The newly minted goalkeeper of the Lviv Carpathians, Denys Marchenko, shared his first impressions after the contract. According to the young footballer, he is looking forward to the opportunity to play in front of the local crowd and help the team achieve important victories. The goalkeeper does not hide his joy at joining the state of the lions: I am very happy to become a Carpathian player. This is a club with ambition, history and cool fans. I can't wait to fully start working with new partners and play in front of the Lviv audience," Denys admitted. Marchenko noted that he has already established contact with the goalkeeper mentors of the Lviv club - Bohdan Shust and Yuriy Shevchuk, whose professional approach impresses him very much. In addition, the goalkeeper said that the progress of another player became an important signal for him: "I have known Nazar Domchak for a long time, now we are together in the national team of Ukraine. I did not consult with him about moving to Lviv, but looking at how he progressed over the last year, I understood that the club has good specialists who will help me reach a new level," Marchenko noted. Regarding his plans on the football field, Denys is as ambitious as possible. His main goal is a reliable game at the last stage and the team's tournament success: As part of "Karpat", I want to keep my goal "dry" as often as possible, demonstrate a confident game and score points with the team. "Karpaty" should be in high places in the tournament table. I will make every effort to please the fans with my game," the player summed up.
