Official: Karpaty Lviv Sign Real Madrid Academy Product Moha

FC Karpaty Lviv have officially announced the signing of 26-year-old central midfielder Mohamed Mouhliss, commonly known as Moha. The Spanish-born player agreed to a three-year contract with an option for an additional season. Moha was born in Madrid to Moroccan parents and developed through Real Madrid's youth system, rising from the U-10 level all the way to Castilla, the club's reserve side. In 2019, he went on loan to Celta Vigo's B team, returned to the capital a year later, and eventually joined Real Valladolid's B squad. His career took a new turn in 2022 when he signed with FC Andorra. Just six months later, he was loaned out to Barcelona's B team. After his stint in Catalonia, Moha moved to Real Murcia, where he played under Francisco Fernández — the same man who now coaches Karpaty Lviv. His most recent stop before heading to Ukraine was Portuguese side Vizela. Last season, Moha was a regular, making 32 appearances, scoring two goals, and providing five assists. On the international stage, Moha represented Spain at youth level, winning the U-17 European Championship in 2017 and the U-19 title in 2019.
