Barcelona eyeing loan move for Rafael Leão with buy option – Rashford blueprint

0
Barcelona haven’t given up on signing AC Milan winger Rafael Leão, even after bringing in Anthony Gordon earlier this window. According to Italian outlets, the Catalan club is looking for a financially manageable way to get the deal done. The Blaugrana aren’t prepared to cough up around €60 million for the Portuguese international right now. Instead, they’re exploring a loan with a purchase option – the same structure they used last season to bring in Marcus Rashford. Milan, though, have a different preference. The Serie A side will only consider a loan if it includes a mandatory buy clause at the end of the season. Leão’s chances of ending up at Camp Nou could also improve if Barcelona fail to strike an agreement with Atlético Madrid for Julián Álvarez, who remains a top attacking target for the club.
