Real Madrid Make It Official: Denzel Dumfries Signs Until 2030

Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of right-back Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan. The Dutch international put pen to paper on a contract that runs through June 30, 2030. Neither club disclosed the financial terms of the deal, but reports from Spain indicate that manager José Mourinho was the driving force behind the move. The Portuguese coach personally pushed for Dumfries to strengthen the right side of his defense and gave the green light for the transfer. Dumfries arrives on the back of a strong 2025/26 campaign, where he made 28 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and adding two assists. Two of those goals came in the Champions League, and he helped Inter complete a domestic double — winning Serie A and the Coppa Italia. With his new contract, Dumfries is set to spend the next four seasons at the Santiago Bernabéu, becoming Real Madrid’s latest addition ahead of the new football year.
