Official: Beşiktaş Sign Salih Özcan on Free Transfer

Beşiktaş have officially announced the signing of defensive midfielder Salih Özcan. The 28-year-old Turkey international has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the option of an additional season – a “3+1” contract. Özcan joins the Istanbul giants as a free agent, bringing an end to his four-year stint at Borussia Dortmund. During the first half of the 2024/25 campaign, he spent time on loan at Wolfsburg, making 12 appearances for the Bundesliga side. In total, the midfielder registered two assists in 96 outings for Dortmund. On the international stage, Özcan has earned 32 caps for Turkey, scoring once and adding one assist.
