Galatasaray Target Manchester City Midfielder Reijnders as Top Priority

Galatasaray have set their sights on Manchester City's Tijjani Reijnders, with Turkish outlet Fotomac reporting the Istanbul giants view the Dutch international as the ideal reinforcement for their midfield. The 27-year-old is seen as a perfect fit for the club's plans next season thanks to his versatility, ball-winning ability, transitional speed, and threat in the final third. Sources indicate the Turkish side are ready to push for the deal if City show any willingness to negotiate. However, prising Reijnders away from the Premier League champions will not come cheap. His contract at the Etihad runs until 2030, and his market value is estimated at around €50 million. Galatasaray are monitoring the situation closely, aware that any move would require a significant outlay. The Turkish club also hope the promise of regular Champions League football and a central role in the squad could persuade the player himself to consider a fresh challenge. Reijnders joined Manchester City from AC Milan in the summer of 2025 for €54.9 million. During the 2025/26 season, he made 50 appearances across all competitions for the English side, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
