Leandro Trossard Set for Besiktas Move After Arsenal Agree €20m Deal

Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is on the verge of joining Besiktas, with transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirming the deal is done. The Turkish side will pay €18 million upfront, with an additional €2 million in performance-related add-ons. Arsenal signed off on the terms last week, and the 31-year-old Belgian gave his final green light on Wednesday, July 14. Trossard is scheduled to fly to Istanbul later today to undergo a medical and put pen to paper on his contract with the Super Lig outfit. The former Brighton man joined the Gunners in January 2023 for €24 million as a plan B after the club failed to land Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk. Since then, Trossard has racked up 174 appearances, scoring 36 goals and providing 34 assists. His existing deal at the Emirates was set to run until the summer of 2027.
