Club Brugge have officially announced the signing of veteran Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer. The 37-year-old arrived as a free agent after his stint with Inter Milan came to an end, putting pen to paper on a deal running through the summer of 2029. Fabrizio Romano was among the first to break the news. Sommer's career has taken him through Basel, Vaduz, Grasshoppers, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayern Munich and Inter. With the Nerazzurri, he lifted the Serie A title and reached the Champions League final. He also ranks among the all-time appearance leaders for Switzerland, having been the national team's No.1 for years. Last season, the goalkeeper made 43 appearances for Inter across all competitions.
