Fabinho leaves Al-Ittihad as contract expires

Brazilian midfielder Fabinho is leaving Saudi club Al-Ittihad following the expiration of his contract, according to insider Ben Jacobs. The 32-year-old will become a free agent after the club decided to focus on younger players, the source reports. Fabinho joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2023. He made 111 official appearances for the club and scored seven goals. In the 2025/26 Saudi League season, Al-Ittihad finished fifth in the standings with 55 points.
