Liverpool open talks for Monaco winger Akliouche

Liverpool have initiated contact with Monaco over a potential move for winger Maghnes Akliouche, according to Sky Sports. The Premier League side made an initial enquiry to assess the feasibility of signing the 24-year-old Frenchman. Liverpool are on the lookout for a new wide attacker, and Akliouche fits the bill as a left-footed player who primarily operates on the right flank. However, Paris Saint-Germain remain the frontrunners for the midfielder's signature. The Ligue 1 champions have already lodged several bids, the latest worth around €40 million, but Monaco have rejected every offer. Last season, Akliouche scored seven goals and recorded 11 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.
