Newcastle reach €41m deal for Monaco's Aladji Bamba

Newcastle United have finalized a full agreement with AS Monaco for the transfer of 23-year-old Aladji Bamba, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. The total package is worth €41 million. Bamba has already travelled to England to undergo a medical that the club has arranged. Monaco have also given the green light to complete the move. Personal terms between the player and Newcastle are fully settled, and an official announcement is expected shortly. Last season, Bamba made 28 appearances and recorded three assists.
