Jürgen Klopp Set to Be Named Germany Head Coach in Friday Announcement

Jürgen Klopp is officially returning to the touchline as the new head coach of the German national team. The 59-year-old will be unveiled this Friday, July 24, during a press conference organized by the German Football Association (DFB) in Frankfurt. According to sources, Klopp’s contract with Die Mannschaft will run through the end of the 2030 World Cup. To take the job, he negotiated an early exit from his role as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull, a position he held since 2025. Klopp’s last coaching stint was at Liverpool, where he managed from 2015 to 2024. During his tenure, the Merseyside club claimed eight major trophies, including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. He also guided Liverpool to two Champions League finals and one Europa League final.
