Liverpool officially extend contract with Freddie Woodman

Liverpool have confirmed a new contract for goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, as announced on the club's official website. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the 29-year-old Englishman has signed a deal running until June 2029. Woodman joined the Reds last summer on a free transfer after leaving Preston North End. In his debut 2025/26 campaign, he made four appearances for Liverpool, conceding seven goals. The club has also been previously linked with a move for defender Illya Zabarnyi.
